A Narrow Wire Cage Crinoline

From the Needle and Thread Kit

My narrow wire cage crinoline made from a kit by Needle and Thread. The hoop is absolutely amazing. It was easy to put together, it's extremely light and looks just like an original. The hoops are secured not just with little metal dots, but with specially woven pockets in the tapes. This makes for an extremely secure cage, which held up even when I was spun too quickly at a ball and ended up with my foot through the hoops half way up the crinoline.

The first step is to thread the hoops into the pockets.

Once that's done, you start to shape the hoop. The front pieces just need to be attached to each other.

Last, finishing the opening.
