Right: Though the lining is secured in back, at the sides and front, it's loose.

Left: The lining lifted to show the piecing of the front silk panel. The pieces are sewn selvage to selvage.






Left: A view of the placket extension from the inside. The stitching seen secures the velvet ribbon into place.

Right: The lining on the right side of the skirt has come loose, giving a good view of the construction.
