On the left is a fashion plate from the January 1829 edition of the Ladies' Monthly Museum. On the right is a fashion plate from the January 1829 edition of La Belle Assemblee. Apparently fashion plates were, on occasion, copied from one magazine to another. The details of the dress are the same, only the title, walking dress in the Ladies' Monthly Museum, and carriage dress in La Belle Assemblee, are different. The description of the walking dress is available on the Ladies' Monthly Museum page. I wish I had the description from La Belle Assemblee to see if it was the same!
